Job Description
Essential Responsibilities :
• Buyer performs Supplier Selection, Contractualisation and KPI evaluation of the suppliers who are supplying for materials required in order to products and supply services which must be in line with sourcing strategies and instructions, with the objective of maximum benefit to the company, transparency and full compliance with company values.
• His/her responsibility covers the production and service items, which are not covered by global frame agreements and which are related only to the Unit, and support the Sales team at tendering stage
• He/she takes part or leads when necessary the qualification, supplier audit, supplier/ contract management process.
• Following Grid Key Commodity Frame agreements and let other departments know about the conditions of them.
• Execute global initiatives related to payment term, suppliers reduction, soles sources, tools & process, etc
• Propose opportunities of improvement (cost out, KPi’s and tools & processes)
• Manage and communicate the unit sourcing monthly reporting
• Collaborate and influence key decision makers
Qualifications/Requirements :
• Graduate from University of 4 years preferably from Engineering or Business Administration field
• At least 5 years of experience in Purchasing
• Background and/or experience with Electrical systems would be an asset.
• Advance level of English knowledge
• Knowledge of SAP environment.
• Excellent leadership, influencing, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Emotionally resilient and able to drive projects effectively for excellence against demanding targets in a complex, multi-disciplined environment.
• Customer oriented and able to operate effectively in a high pressure environment and pressing customer deadlines.
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customer.
• Enthusiastic, with a drive for results.
• Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in office IT suite (excel, word and PowerPoint).
• Capable of working in a deadline-oriented environment.
