Are you a Buyer from a manufacturing / engineering / technical background who is looking for an exciting new position, where you will be playing a key role in a growing, specialist company?
Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, you will be supporting with the procurement of materials for a company that primarily works within the Aerospace and Medical industries. Your role will be varied, from negotiating and securing new contracts to collaborating with all areas of the company to ensure efficiency and reliability in the supply chain.
The company has been a well-established supply chain partner in a variety of sectors for decades, developing industry-leading photonics technologies and continuously striving to innovate. They have an increasing global presence, and are looking for someone who can grow and succeed with them.
This role would suit a Buyer from a manufacturing / engineering / technical background.
The Role:
Site-based, Monday - Friday
Direct and indirect materials procurement within Aerospace and Medical industries
Actioning requirements of MRP
Building and maintaining strong internal relationships to understand purchasing requirements and prevent/resolve issues
The Person:
Previous relevant experience in Buying, Purchasing or Materials Procurement
Knowledge and experience of running MRP systems
Proven excellent organisational and project management skills
