Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for purchasing hogs daily making contact with producers daily managing the station; controlling costs sorting hogs writing checks scheduling trucks tattooing hogs maintenance showcase. Also responsible for phone and country solicitation of all producers in designated area.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: College degree preferred.

Experience: Agriculture background preferred. Prior swine experience is a must. Understanding of modern swine production systems. Livestock Procurement preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal written communication including professional telephone skills.

Special Skills: Ability to be courteous articulate proven ability to work with producers.
